Wall of love

Ms. Tully has put so much time and work into supporting my child's self-regulation. She is constantly communicating with me and trying new ways to help him direct his energy. Her use of Tools allows him to learn outside of the box.

There are so many favorite moments! My son loves school and runs in smiling every day! He loves practicing letters and numbers and leads these activities at home, too. I think that speaks to the Tools curriculum and how learning is made fun.

With guidance from Ms. Marcie, our child learned how to talk himself down when upset and how to make a plan for what he wanted to do next.  

Mrs. Rubino taught both my children and I saw them blossom before my eyes. With this method of teaching, their ability to read and write was beyond their years. They learned to think things out logically and put things together sequentially, became familiar with real-life situations like what vets do, what firefighters do, what communities are made of, how we grocery shop and more. Mrs. Rubino is like no other!  

Through patient guidance, consistency and encouragement, Mrs. Rubino helped my daughter grow. She is learning how to double-check her work and takes pride in doing things correctly. Although she sometimes hesitates to push herself—knowing that learning can be hard—she still shows up with her best effort every single day. And that resilience, that belief in herself, is all thanks to the nurturing and unwavering support of Mrs. Rubino.  

Our child was extremely impulsive at the beginning of the year, often screaming as soon as something didn’t go his way. He is so much more regulated now thanks to Mrs. Ladner and thinks ahead more often! He does very well now dressing himself and getting ready for school on his own.  

Both Ms. Marcie and Ms. Kerry are awesome! They helped so much with getting my daughter out of her comfort zone!  

Mrs. Schmidt goes the extra mile and shares with us pictures and videos of our daughter learning and communicating with other students. It puts smiles on our faces every day. Our daughter has definitely improved in all areas of attention, as well as taking turns and gaining better control of her emotions.  

Miss Jolinda and Miss Kim made a huge impact in our child's learning, interacting and growth this past year. Our son has become a much better listener and can follow instructions on jobs I have him help with.  

I’m astonished at the skills they’ve developed over such a short time with Mrs. Schmidt! Using letters and words appropriately is just the beginning.

With Mrs. Propson, our child has grown to be an independent writer and is empowered to write anything she wants.  

Ms. Tully has been an amazing role model for our daughter. Her nurturing spirit and passion to work with big feelings versus shutting them down are some of her many beautiful qualities. In the beginning, my daughter only scribbled with no words. Now she draws full people with details and can sound out and write beginning letters of words. Ms. Tully has helped our child blossom into her fullest potential and we could not be more grateful.

Mrs. Propson does a great job teaching kindergarten! Our child has learned so much. I love the phonics that she is learning. Our child was disappointed to learn that there’s a summer break! She wanted to move right on into 1st grade.  

Mrs. Propson is an amazing teacher! My child loved the Magic Tree House books and the themes that went with them.  

Ms. Tiffany is caring. My child loves everything about school and is starting to recognize words!

Mrs. Perkins and Mrs. Sweeny are a perfect dynamic duo. Their love of education is exceptional and their patience is above and beyond with each and every child! My son loves his teachers and his classmates. He learned so much! He developed compassion and curiosity while learning letters, numbers and words.

Mrs. Rubino was so nurturing and played an integral part in supporting my daughter's learning. Our appreciation of her is huge. My child loves everything about school including centers and free time. We've seen such growth in her reading and writing.

We absolutely loved and are so grateful for the teacher and helping staff our son had this year. They were great with helping him succeed in not only the classroom but in relationships and in a school environment.

My child has made so many achievements in Ms. Regal's class. We absolutely love her! His favorite part of school was acting out the chapters. We saw so much vocabulary improvement!

Mrs. Beekman and Mrs. Zakutney took a huge interest in the children's development and growth. They were always very hands-on and helpful. All three of my children have had Mrs. Beekman as a teacher and still talk about things she did with them in class. To this day, my kids still go up to her to say hello and give her a hug. There is no one better than her! Mrs. Beekman is beyond successful in the way she teaches Tools.

My daughter loves school because of the experience she had with Tools of the Mind in Mrs. Beekman's Kindergarten. Tools helped my daughter and I both understand the value of not just academics, but the cognitive, self-regulation and emotional skills that are important to becoming a great student. I attribute my daughter's academic advanced placement to the foundation that was formed by Mrs. Beekman.

My child loved Ms. Tiffany and was excited to go to school. He loved the play stations, got better at many skills and loved the reading.

It’s amazing how much my son developed in one year with Mrs. Regal. She was a great role model for him. He went from not being able to read in the beginning to being able to read to me.  He loved reading and learning about the adventures of Jack & Annie.

My child really loves school and Mrs. Propson! I've noticed my child has become more independent and is managing her emotions better. I just love my child coming home and being so excited to show me what she made, how many math problems she got correct, what she can read, etc.  

Mrs. Bean had a great impact on my child. She was concerned and patient. My child has really blossomed. She's learned so much.

My daughter loved Mrs. Regal and said she wishes she could have her again next year! She made the class fun and they learned so much.

Mrs. Perkins truly cares for the kids. My child loved the hands on activities. He learned so much and became more disciplined and a good listener. We are truly amazed with his progress. I just want to say thank you for spending so much time teaching, guiding and encouraging my child.

Mrs. Hall is a great teacher and Tools is a great program. My child liked the comfortable atmosphere. She really took off, learned and excelled pretty quickly.

Mrs. Hall is a loving, nurturing, hands-on teacher that makes learning fun and interactive. My child's favorite part of the day was center time. He was always excited to tell us which center he had been to that day. He is ready to read and he developed many social skills.

My daughter loved Ms. Tiffany. She was very caring, helpful and always made my daughter feel special. She loved the play stations and learned her letters and how to write her name.

Mrs. Rubino was very kind, patient and knew exactly how to keep the kids on track. My child was excited for school every morning. He loved the centers and how they were always changing to something creative. He is able to sound out basic words and spell. He can count, write numbers and started adding and subtracting. Tools really prepared my child for Kindergarten.

My son loved going to school and learning with Mrs. Regal. He developed so many social skills and so much responsibility. He was always excited to tell me about the role playing, dressing up and each new week’s activities.

I could write a whole book on what an amazing person Ms. Grigoli is. She gave my child confidence and patience and taught her to think for herself. Thanks to Tools, I saw crazy jumps in my daughter's ability to read and write. She loved exploring the world with Jack and Annie!

Mrs. Rubino and Mrs. Felts were so kind and nurturing. Their feedback helped us follow through at home. I cannot believe how receptive my son was to Tools preschool. He progressed so much throughout the two years.

The impact Mrs. Rubino had on our son cannot be put into words. Academics were never an issue, but it’s his emotional and behavioral gains that Mrs. Rubino should truly be commended for. I fully believe that he would not be where he is today without her.

Mrs. Rubino used the Tools approach to teaching to help my son grasp concepts in a way that he could use and remember. He liked learning math, reading and writing. He always enjoyed the themes and active play. He learned SO MUCH!

Mrs. Rubino helped my son develop tools to refocus attention and apply critical and creative thinking during imaginative play. He was able to recognize letter sounds in words and could write a full sentence. The writing development was amazing to see! Tools provides a noticeable head start for children going into kindergarten.

Ms. Tiffany loves her work and her students. She has so much energy, patience, creativity and charisma. My son would tell me about the books he read, songs and new words he learned every day. He really did retain a ton of new information and has a huge zest for learning. He even teaches us new things he learns at school.

In Mrs. Rubino's classroom, the learning and growth were apparent. I saw my daughter achieve many skills. She gained so much confidence in her writing. Mrs. Rubino is the best preschool teacher! She is so amazing and knows so much about the Tools of the Mind.
